Each life jacket worn is a hug from our dear little Ezra Jacob

We are so thankful to have a generous and caring community who donated 60 USCG-approved life jackets in honor of our son, Ezra Jacob who passed away last November 11, 2022 from complications of drowning while on vacation in the Philippines.

Ezra was also declared the Philippines’ youngest organ donor. His legacy lives on not only through organ donation awareness, but also through Ezra and Buddies, a non profit organization established by his parents. Our goal is to raise awareness, educate, and promote water-safety in the countries they call home- the Philippines and in the US.

Through water-safety and drowning prevention programs, Ezra is always making waves !

Ezra's Waves Learn to Swim Program

Last May 27th, Ezra and Buddies welcomed their first 38 Learn to Swim program scholars. The scholars, ranging from ages 4-12, will go through two weeks of

learning and understanding safety around water as well as basic swimming skills.

Thank you to our family and to McDonald’s San Nicolas for helping us make this event a success!

The program will begin on Monday, May 29th and will run 5 days a week through June 9th.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed and supported this program. When you purchased Ezra’s Bunny Buddies and/or donated, you helped at least one child learn how to swim and their parents to learn about water-safety.
